The LAAHS Discussion Boards are a specialized space dedicated to the research, preservation, and exchange of knowledge on Latin American and Caribbean aviation history. They connect historians, researchers, aviation enthusiasts, authors, and scale modelers from around the world who share the same commitment to this field. To ensure a productive and respectful environment, all participants are expected to observe the following rules. Compliance is a condition of membership; the Board's Administrator reserves final authority in all matters.
1. Latin American Aviation topics only. These boards are exclusively dedicated to topics related to the origin, evolution, and further development of aviation in Latin America and the Caribbean, whether civilian or military. Posts or materials unrelated to these subjects will be removed without further notice.
2. Removal of threads and posts. The Board's Administrator reserves the right to remove, edit, move, or close any content item, for any reason and without prior notice.
3. Free speech and dispute resolution. The Board's Administrator has the final say in all matters. Access to the LAAHS Discussion Boards and related websites is a privilege, not a right, and may be revoked at the Administrator's discretion.
4. Copyrights and credits. Any material posted, whether text, images, or other media, must be owned by the posting user, or explicit consent must have been obtained from the original author or rights holder, with proper credit given.
5. Basic community standards. Posts containing obscene, vulgar, sexually explicit, hateful, threatening, or otherwise unlawful content, whether directed at individuals or groups based on nationality, ethnicity, gender, religion, or culture, will be deleted without warning.
6. Advertising. Unsolicited commercial advertising of products or services is not permitted. Such posts will be removed without further notice.
7. Duplicate posts. Before opening a new thread, please use the boards' search function to verify the subject has not already been addressed. Duplicate threads will be removed.
